With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Carole Lund on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 83 with her family at her side. Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Lund (2010). Beloved mother of Karen Eppert (late Joe), Ron (Peggy), and Mark (Josie). Nana of Crystal Maskluk (Ryan), Isaac (Summer), and Sophia Lund; Erik (Tiffany), Ryan, Nicole (Tyrell), & Justin Boissineau. Great-Nana of Aliyah and Silas. Cherished sister of Glenn (Rebecca) Ross and the late Brian (Eli) Ross. Precious daughter of the late Hamilton and Stella Ross. Daughter-in-law of the late Harold and Helen Lund.
All who knew Carole loved her. Her positivity and fun nature were contagious. Her laughter, sense of humour, and her expressive personality will be greatly missed.
Carole worked for 30 years at Boston Motors and later at Northwood Funeral Home. Although her imminent death was known to her, her unwavering faith in God’s promise of a resurrection to a paradise earth gave her strength (Revelation 21:3, 4).

Carole’s family will be forever indebted to Josie Lund for her medical and moral support (going without sleep for 48 hours) to the end and to Karen Eppert who cared for her mother with compassion and love during her final weeks. We thank the ongoing support and friendship that Grant & Kathy Horner, Gloria Mifflin, Dawn Wasylinuk, Alysha Powley, and Michael & Bonnie Bordin provided to Carole during this difficult time.
