The family regrets to announce the peaceful passing of Conrad with family by his side at the F. J. Davey Home on Friday December 16, 2016. Beloved husband of Norma (Halcrow) for 60 years. Loving father of Connie (Austin) McDougal, Cathy Donnell, Marty (Sherri) and Brent (Tina). Proud Grandpa of Marley, Liam, Joey, Jeffrey, Bryan and Alicia. Conrad worked at Algoma Steel for 31 years as a welder and retired to enjoy travelling and time at their camp on Echo Lake. Conrad was an avid fisherman who loved to share his passion for the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. In keeping with Conrad’s wishes, cremation and a private family service were held. In honour of Conrad’s love of nature and animals, donations can be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society. Thank you to the Driftwood Beach, 2nd floor at the F. J. Davey Home for their compassionate care and kindness for the past 18 months.
