NEVEAU, Gerald 'Gerry'
Peacefully passed away with family members near his side at Extendicare Mapleview on Sunday October 25, 2015 at the age of 72 . Widower of Ella (November 17, 2008). Predeceased by his parents Felix and Josephine. Also predeceased by his daughter Melody (1971) and his son Christopher (2003). Father of 5 daughters and 1 son. Grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 12. Dear brother of Angelina Begin (late Emile), late Michael Neveau (Angela), late Ralph Neveau (Charity), Vivian Gauthier, Arnold Neveau (Stella), Bernice Coulis (Leonard Roberts), Helen Neveau, Darwin Neveau (Gladys), late Melissa Moore (Kenny), Pauline Boyer (Don Couture). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Prior to being involved in a fatal car accident which left him disabled, at a very young age Gerald worked as a logger then become a roofer, he also enjoyed being a commercial fisherman with his best friend and brother in-law late Nelson McKay He enjoyed hunting with his brothers in his younger years as well. As per the family’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or services. In Lieu of flowers a donation in Gerald's name can be made to Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home.
