SPURR, Sharon (nee Clayton)
Peacefully at ARCH on Friday November 22, 2019 at the age of 72. Married to the late James Spurr for more than 50 years. Sharon was the most loving and devoted mother of her son Douglas. The love and admiration they shared for each other will live on forever. Sharon was special Auntie to Amanda Farquhar (Ryan) and TeeTee to Liam and Owen Farquhar. Amanda was the daughter that Sharon always wanted. Amanda lived at Aunties for many years and the love they shared for each other was special. Daughter of the late Lavern and Ella Clayton. Daughter-in-law to the late Dorothy and Douglas Spurr. Sister to the late June Varcoe (late James), the late Verna Wigmore (Gord), Brent Clayton (late Linda), Debbie Clayton, the late Hal Clayton, the late Mary Abbott (late Don), Debbie Hayes and Jim Hammond. Special Aunt to Judy O’Neil (Paul Pierman). Sister-in-law to David Spurr (Wendy), Linda Cope (James), Allan Spurr (Debbie) and Richard Spurr (Kathleen). Sharon has many special nieces and nephews that held a special place in her heart. She was grateful to Judy and Debbie for the care and compassion shown to her in her last few months. In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to ARCH (payable by cheque).
