HODGSON, Shirley (nee Taylor)
Passed away at Algoma Residential Hospice (ARCH) on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the age of 82. Cherished Mom of Debbie Pereira (Tony, her 'favourite son-in-law'); most adored Grandma Squirrely of Rebecca (Jon Irwin); Stephanie (Randy Meyskens); Jeremy (Amanda Ward) and Carly Pereira. Great Grandma of Carter and Benjamin Meyskens, and Evelyn Pereira. Predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Olga Taylor and by former spouse, George Hodgson. Survived by her only sister, Joan Brason (late Jack) and nephew, John. Mom had fond memories of the 'Hodgson Clan'....her sisters- and brothers-in-laws: Beverly Zarechny (John); Huck Hodgson (Donna); Joe Hodgson (Lorraine); Donna Christie (late Gary); Chuck Hodgson (Cheryle); and the late Marilyn Salvalaggio (Lino); Fern Della Costanza (Earl); John Hodgson (Georgina); Butch Hodgson (Pat) and the many Hodgson nieces and nephews. Our gratitude goes out to the wonderful people at ARCH; to a person they treated Mom with dignity and kindness. Memorial donations directly to this extraordinary facility (ARCH) would be most appreciated by the family. A private family funeral has taken place. Interment at St. Luke's Cathedral Columbarium.
