Obituary for Terence Michael Higgins

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Higgins at the age of 71 after along and courageous battle with stomach cancer and leukemia on
November 3rd, 2022, at ARCH.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Christine and his cherished sons Brent (Amanda) and Darryl. Survived by his adored grandchildren Nathan, Riley and Quinn and his furry friend CoCo. Brother to Karen Duguay (Gerald), Michelle Gregoire (Alex), the late Kevin Higgins and Leigh-Anne Spina (Chris). Predeceased by his parents Irvin and Lee Higgins

He will be missed by his much-loved sisters in law; Heather Tasse (Bob), Donna Lee Miller, Cheryl Lyn Miller, Kim Charbonneau, and Tina Dunn (Keith). Cousin and best friend of Doug and Donna Higgins. Loved and deeply missed by many nieces and nephews throughout Canada and our extended family The Windsorites (Venus) Michiganders, Saultites, Rentrew group and New Brunswick family. He will be greatly missed by his best friend Robert Tasse.

Special thank you to the many family members and friends who have done so much for us during this difficult time. We also want to thank the wonderful staff of SAH for being so gracious to Terry during his extended stay. A thank you to the amazing staff at ARCH for their awesome care, concern and treating Terry with such dignity from the moment he arrived until the moment he left.

Thank you to Pastors Rob and Pastor Stacey Quinlan from Destiny Christian Centre for the spiritual support and guidance, prayers and numerous visits which brought much peace to Terry.

There will be a visitation starting at 1:00 pm followed by a service and light lunch at Destiny Christian Centre (633 Wallace Terr, SSM) on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
